Between Sundays

I am incredibly blessed to be the pastor of a congregation that finds it profitable to send me out and let me be fed. (I am speaking of spiritual food, but as a Baptist my congregation does not let me go hungry physically either. Baptists do know how to eat!) In a few weeks I will have the opportunity to return to California and soak in God's word at the 2008 Shepherd's Conference. I look forward to this week every year as a time of resting and refreshing as I have the opportunity to be fed by some of the great preachers of our time. To sit under these gifted men and hear the word of God preached with heat and light is incredible. Now that the conference is only a couple of weeks away the California countdown has begun. I will share more as the week of the conference draws near. Below is a picture of myself and my friend David as we stood with John MacArthur.
