California Dreaming...
This was supposed to be yesterday's post on my trip to California for this year's Shepherd's Conference. Yet, it would more aptly be titled "Dreaming in California" as I was tired and went to bed before typing anything. Yet the day was great. My flight on Southwest airlines was smooth and gave me time to finish David McCullough's 1776 with time to spare. In addition, the plane landed 25 minutes early - a rarity for any airline. This allowed me to get my rental car early and avoid rush hour traffic in LA. The weather is near perfect, and the conference is off to a great start.

Southwest the only way to fly. Although I was born and raised in northern California, as you well know, I have never been to L.A. came close once. Have a safe trip home. Love Mamaw
