Family Nights in the Fall

In an effort to establish traditions and memories for our family, we seek to come up with activities that we can do together. Since it is fall and the weather has finally turned cool, we decided to pick up some pumpkins and carve them together. While Summer and I handled the knife work, Ethan had fun pulling out the inside of the pumpkins. We are by no means artists as you can tell from the photos, but a fun time was had by all. We displayed our work on the front porch after we finished so that others could enjoy.

It looks like all three of you had a fun time carving your pumpkins, and I think they turned out quite nice. The expression on Ethan's face in the first picture is so adorable...he looks like he is bursting with excitement!

P.S. That Bama shirt must have come from your Mom, right?! We might just have to send Ethan an Auburn one for Christmas to even things out!

Your pumpkins turned out just fine. Ethan is at the age where everything you do with him is not only exciting for him but for you two also and starting family traditions is a wonderful thing. I would have loved seeing Ethan scooping out the inside of the pumpkins. Love to all. Mamaw
