Ethan's Outing

July has been a rushed, although blessed month. Summer and I found out we both have the Epstein-Barr virus which is the culprit for mononucleosis and chronic fatigue syndrome. So we have been taking vitamins and trying to get some rest. In addition, we have been trying to potty train Ethan...not my favorite part of the parenting process. Progress is slow, and patience is being developed in me.
But rather than focus on these things, I wanted to share some pictures from a day out with Ethan. One Friday we took Ethan out for a day of his own with Summer and I. We went to eat at the place of his choosing - McDonalds and then to see the Pixar film Up. We all had a wonderful time and the movie was great (Four stars in my book - one of the best of the year).

I hope you and Summer are feeling better now... it's hard to be sick when you know you've got two little ones depending on you!

I love the photos of your outing with Ethan. We saw UP earlier this summer and really enjoyed it, too (even though parts of it did make me tear up a little).

Great pictures of your outing with Ethan. You all look like you had a great time. Hope you and Summer are feeling better. Like your Aunt Deann said it is hard to be sick when you have two little ones depending on you.
