Days of Disney

The summer is nearly over, and we have stuck pretty close to home while others have journeyed to various locals. So since I am still stuck in the office while others are at play, I decided to take a moment and fondly look back on our trip to Disneyland back in March. I have yet to share any of the photos and decided to change that as of today. So below are a few photos from our first day in the Disneyland resort. The park is similar and yet vastly different to Disneyworld's Magic Kingdom. It has many of the same rides and then a great deal more. So hope you enjoy the photos. Summer and I had a great time while there...we arrived at 9:30 a.m. and left at midnight. Needless to say, we got some good sleep after arriving back at the hotel.
This is Summer and I in front of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
This is Tom Sawyer Island, although it exists in name only now. It has been taken over by the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and had Captain Jack Sparrow on it. This is the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, which was by far the longest line in the park. I think Summer and I waited an hour and a half to ride it...but it was worth it.
